Notes 03-15-08

Took this picture around the same place I took the other one. This was one up the stream, all the water runs from a pond. It had been raining for a couple days, so the water was rushing at a good pace. I used a new program to edit the photo. It is called Paint.net, and it is a nice little program. I found out about it through Maximum PC. It is offers a lot more features than the paint that comes with Windows, and is good for a quick edit. I still like using Photoshop Elements, but this takes less time to load up. Give it a try, like I said it is great for those quick edits.

Notes 03-08-08

It is a nice little snowy day in my part of the world. The snow has been falling about all day, and we have a few inches. I will be glad when spring comes around, I am ready for some warmer weather. We did have a nice day last week, and I used the opportunity to take a walk in the woods.

I took this picture about half a mile from my house. I was walking down the road when the sound of water rushing over rocks hit my ears. I went back the house and grabbed my camera. I took several shots, and found this one to be one of the best. This is the reason I am looking forward to some warmer weather. I plan to take my camera out on some nature hikes this spring. This is going to be my new hobby, something I have always wanted to do.

Notes 03-01-08

Long time no blog my friends. Things have been really crazy in my life since mid December. There is way too much to write about, but things are starting to go a little better. I will just leave it at that. Hopefully, I will start blogging on a regular basis. I am starting some new job duties at the beginning of the week, so it may take me some time. I thought I would take the time and give a quick update for those of you that do read this.
